We chose to have a CBM done for our dog Chompski . You see, she was part of a lifelong study thru Morris Animal Foundation that annually took bio samples (hair/nails/urine/blood) . My thoughts as we explored a CBM was, if researchers throughout the world have access to her cells I too wanted the same , but with more of an artistic flare. As you can see the artist captured her essence in color.. This art relays her energy .We proudly hang this piece in remembrance of our Golden girl-Chompski.
I owe a lot to Axle. He was a huge motivator for me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and to teach myself most of what I know on how to care of reptiles. I feel that when people see an urn or a pawprint, they automatically draw a conclusion and that's the end of it. I wanted this cellular blueprint memorial not only because it is a beautiful way to honor him, but also because I want people to ask, "what is that?". I want Axle to continue to pique people's curiosity and open a conversation. He always loved being the center of attention.
